The Dubai Shopping Festival has been running for over 20 years and is a celebration of all things shopping. Save money during the festival with their huge discounts, topped off with special events including nightly fireworks displays, parades, live entertainment, and pop-up market stalls.
If there is one thing Dubai does well, it is opulence. From the décor to the service, and everything in between, Dubai is not shy when it comes to entertaining, and celebrating is something the Emiratis excel at. We know it is a little far ahead to be thinking about New Year’s Eve plans for 2018/19, but this is one party you will not want to miss.
Year-round Family Fun
You will never be short of things to do in Dubai with your kids. Whether you have young tots or older teens the entertainment and activity options are endless, with something to suit every budget. From a free dancing fountains show at the Dubai Mall, to outrageous activities you wouldn’t find anywhere else such as the Seabreacher ride at Rixos The Palm Dubai, this fully submersible vessel can travel up to 100kph and is shaped like a shark! It doesn’t get more entertaining than that.

If you are golf mad, this is the event for you. In its 29th year, the Dubai Desert Classic is a well-established event on the international pro golf circuit.
Dubai Duty Free Tennis Champs
February 19 – March 3, 2018
Watch world class players battle it out on the court. Buy tickets for the games or watch for free on big screens in the Tennis Village.
Dubai World Cup Carnival
January 11 – March 10, 2018
Culminating in the 23rd annual Dubai World Cup on March 31, complete with live music from world-famous artists, the Dubai World Cup Carnival is the must-see horse racing event of the year. With several hospitality options available there are tickets to suit every taste and budget. Don’t worry if you can’t make it for the Carnival, there are race meetings year-round to enjoy.
November 29 – December 1, 2018
Experience the amazing atmosphere at the Dubai Rugby 7s. With teams from all over the world competing, this is sure to be an exciting tournament. The Sevens Stadium offers interactive kids clubs and childcare, plus live entertainment and a host of food and beverage options.
