Jumeirah Beach

Take to the ocean and soak up the glorious sunshine that continuously warms Dubai! The Jumeirah Beach region stretches along the coast of Dubai, between the mouth of the Dubai Creek and The Palm. Consisting of boardwalks, parklands, restaurants, cafés, towering residential buildings and private and public beach areas, Jumeriah Beach is the perfect place for families and those who love to get out and enjoy the sun and the sea! The World Islands are visible from Jumeirah Beach. Located 4km off the coast, this artificial archipelago, constructed to represent a world map is something to behold!

Jumeriah Beach is home to the seven-star Burj Al Arab hotel. This sail-shaped building is iconic and stands 321m above sea level, just offshore on a triangular man-made island. The Burj Al Arab is distinctive, luxurious and features the tallest atrium lobby in the world. It has an underwater aquarium restaurant, a fleet of Rolls-Royces and a helipad that has hosted a range of celebrity stunts! Private beaches surround it, owned by various nearby hotels, but if you’re not a hotel guest, you can access either the public Jumeirah Beach Park or Kite Beach, each less than 10km away.

Jumeirah Beach Park and Kite Beach offer a range of water sports and kid friendly activities. Beach goers can learn and perfect the art of kitesurfing, stand up paddle boarding or other traditional and innovative water sports by hiring gear from local vendors. Those who aren’t all for the water can head to Wire World at Kite Beach. Located just opposite the XDubai Skatepark and consisting of a 40m zip line, Tarzan swing, a bungee ejection and more, this is the perfect place for kids who want a unique high wire outdoor adventure!
